The Manitoba Water Services Board (MWSB) is issuing this Request for Pre-Qualification (RFPQ) on behalf of the owner, Rural Municipality of Macdonald (Owner) for the RM of Macdonald Water Treatment Plant Upgrades and Associated Works. This RFPQ is an invitation to prospective Respondents to pre-qualify as a General Construction Contractor in accordance with the Evaluation Criteria herein for the abovementioned project, and further described in this document. It is the intent of the MWSB to short-list successful pre-qualified Respondents with relevant experience in water treatment plant construction and commissioning to bid on the General Construction Contract for the RM of Macdonald Water Treatment Plant Upgrades Project. The Pre-qualification is the first of a two-stage procurement process. The first stage involves the invitation and selection of Respondents that meet the requirements of the Prequalification. The second stage will be to invite the prequalified General Contractors to submit Tenders for the Invitational Tender, to be issued at a later date by the MWSB. Project Budget: The value of this project is currently estimated to be approximately $20,000,000 (CAD + GST). This includes a $2,000,000 contingency allowance and also includes the novation of a $7,000,000 pre-selected treatment equipment package. |
